Ontem, eu tive o prazer de conhecer pessoalmente Cecile Zarokian, a perfumista francesa, que foi entrevistada por mim recentemente, e sua mão direita, Pauline Zimer. Elas se encontram no Brasil, com uma agenda super apertada, passando por duas grandes cidades, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Cecile Zarokian in person, the French perfumer, who was interviewed by me recently, and her right hand, Pauline Zimer. They are in Brazil with a very tight schedule passing through two big cities, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
Cecile é uma perfumista independente, dona de sua própria empresa, localizada em Paris, com mais de 10 anos de existência. Ao longo de sua carreira, ela realizou diversas criações para marcas reconhecidas no mercado de nicho, como: Amouage, Masque Milano, JOVOY, XERJOFF, Nishane, Teo Cabanel, Jacques Fath, dentre outras.
Cecile is an independent perfumer, owner of her own company, located in Paris, with more than 10 years of existence. Throughout her career, she has created several fragrances for recognized brands in the niche market, such as: Amouage, Masque Milano, JOVOY, XERJOFF, Nishane, Teo Cabanel, Jacques Fath, among others.
E, recentemente, em parceria com a casa Granado, ela criou o perfume BOSSA, que homenageia a cidade do Rio de Janeiro, com notas que traduzem perfeitamente a essência da Cidade Maravilhosa, em um dia bem ensolarado! Eu, como boa carioquinha que sou, não poderia amar mais!
And, recently, in partnership with Granado, she created the perfume BOSSA, which pays homage to the city of Rio de Janeiro, with notes that perfectly translate the essence of the Marvelous City, on a very sunny day! I couldn't love more, as I am a good 'carioca' girl!
Foi um fim de tarde bem descontraído, com uma conversa super gostosa, onde pude conhecer ainda mais a Cecile como pessoa, suas ideias, seus últimos trabalhos e seus sonhos.
It was a very relaxed afternoon, with a super nice conversation, where I got to know Cecile even more as a person, her ideas, her latest works and her dreams.

A Cecile me fez uma grande surpresa ao levar algumas de suas criações recentes para que eu pudesse conhecer. Dentre elas: EPIC 56 (AMOUAGE), NANSHE (NISHANE), MATERIAL (AMOUAGE), ROSE AQOR (AMOUAGE), SILVER OUD (AMOUAGE) e ZAFFERANO I (STORIE VENEZIANE). Criações super especiais com a assinatura da Cecile, que nos apresenta uma perfumaria que foge totalmente dos padrões tradicionais, com notas extremamente marcantes, intensas e ideal para quem gosta de ser diferente e de ser notado.
Cecile surprised me by taking some of her recent creations for me to smell. Among them: EPIC 56 (AMOUAGE), NANSHE (NISHANE), MATERIAL (AMOUAGE), ROSE AQOR (AMOUAGE), SILVER OUD (AMOUAGE) and ZAFFERANO I (STORIE VENEZIANE). Super special creations with Cecile's signature, which presents us a perfumery that totally escapes traditional standards, with extremely striking, intense notes and ideal for those who like to be different and to being noticed.

NISHANE NANSHE: It is the name Sumerian goddess of fertility, water and social justice, who is believed to be the patroness of dreams and prophecy. Notas: bergamot, carrot seeds, cardamom, yuzu, water fruits & flowers, rose absolute, jasmine sambac absolute, ylang ylang, orris, powdery notes, musk, patchouli e sandalwood.

Notes: cold spices, pink pepper, ginger, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, saffron, tea and hot milk accord, gourmand pastries notes, almond, date, orange blossom, guaiacwood, vetiver, patchouli, cedarwood, leather and oud.
